The first of two sets. Some shots from Boylston Street this morning, on the anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings.
“It’s a huge honor to be part of that (photo),” Chara said, according to The Boston Globe. “Very humbling that we were able to participate in such a proud moment of capturing what did happen, and more likely how the city and people and athletes, everybody, responded.”
This still gives me shivers.
Hard to believe it’s been a year.
still can’t believe I was there
I really love our city.
Today this country remembers those injured and killed as a result of the Boston Marathon bombings a year ago today. I am encouraged every day since this tragic event by those who have survived and persevered. Today we are all Boston Strong.
And a year later this is still spot on
We’re all on the same team.
Beautiful / creepy abandoned places on earth.
